Why I Started Blogging

I originally started this blog as a way to keep myself accountable to my health. If you read my first few posts you will see that over the last few years middle age is catching up with me. There were things that I thought I was doing correctly, but as it turns out I wasn’t doing them to the degree that I should have in order to avoid other problems. However, I didn’t feel that I wanted to do a strictly health conscience blog.

I need variety and freedom to write about what I want when I want.

Writing only about my health was boring, I just couldn’t write in chronological order. Heck I can’t even scrapbook in chronological order. I have to work with what moves me that day. This blog has become more of a lifestyle blog. I’ll talk about life, photography, health, and just whatever I want. So hold on this could be an adventure.

Writing comes easy when I have a topic that feels good to me. Plus growing up, the one consistent thing my mom would hear at parent teacher conferences was “she is such a social butterfly”. Which is true. I may not seem it at first but once I get comfortable in my surroundings look out.

The hardest thing about writing a blog is WRITERS BLOCK. If I can’t easily come up with a idea, it becomes hard for me to write about anything. I can’t focus on it and will get distracted easily. OHHH Shiney! Wait where was I, oh yeah. Focusing….

What I would like to see with this blog, is a place to express myself, share my life, share my photography and even have it help build my photography into a business so that I can quit my 9-5 job.

As my few but distinguished readers what would you like to see on my blog???

  1. Hi My Friend,

How about you photograph some of your craft books in, like a story mode display. A lot of your talent is in those!

    Love you, Mae
