We all have those sayings that we connect with. Some are funny, some are sarcastic, there are those that everyone understands, and some are even passed down from a generation before you. Those always need explanations.  

Here are 5 of my favorite Sayings and Quotes

One that I use all the time, that I heard growing up “building a bridge where a 2×4 will work” which translated means you are taking the long way around things. 

Buckle up buttercup, simply means get ready.

Now my brain works more on the creative side. So, I can totally relate to these “Creativity is a drug I can not live with out ~ Cecil B Demille”

and “Being Creative is a not a hobby it is a way of life”

Well there you have it, funny, sarcastic, and meaning full.  Did you just think, “but that’s only 4 and you said that there were 5” I KNOW RIGHT?!?! Well that is something I say all the time, I don’t know where I heard it, or when it started. But I respond with it all the time when I am agreeing with a friend or surprised at something.
